Over the past 135 years Douglas Camp and Portsmouth Camp have been "The Place" to go for many kids from christian families from all over New England.

Thousands have enjoyed worshipping at the Holy Grounds under the swaying pine trees. They enjoyed fellowship in the little camps and dorms, swimming in nearby ponds, playing a game of softball or baseball, working in the dining hall and a variety of other camp activities.

Through day trips, overnight trips, week long stays, bible studies, and gospel singing, coupled with powerful life changing holiness preaching in the Tabernacle, many found Christ. Now they have grown up and return to the campgrounds to attend evening services or daily bible studies with their families.

Two former campers, Myles Bristowe & Todd Sawyer, frequently attended both Douglas Camp and Portsmouth Camp and decided it might be nice to "connect with old friends again ". Utlizing the social network on Facebook they created  Dougals Camp/Portsmouth Camp Electronic Reunion.

Already, more than 150 former teens are eagerly sharing memories and looking for more alumni to invite, so they can post photos of their days at camp on the Facebook Reunion site.

You can share in this On-Line Reunion by clicking on www.facebook.com . They would welcome any "old-time photos"  or memories that you might want to share.

Join the Reunion of Friends who grew up loving Christ and  sharing their summers at Douglas Camp Meeting or Portsmouth Camp.

And after you re-introduce yourself on-line, why not meet in person during this year at  Douglas Camp Meeting which runs from July 17-July 26.
Rekindle memories of the old dining hall, in the new dining hall, after enjoying an evening of wonderful music and power life changing preaching in the old Tabernacle nestled under the beautiful swaying pines. What a great way to spend a summer evening.
Cameras are always welcome at Camp Meetings, so you can share your memories with friends.
