Dr. J. Eldon Neihof, Sr., President Emeritus of the Kentucky Mountain Holiness Association, is a graduate of the Kentucky Mountain Bible College and Asbury College. Dr. Neihof has served on the alumni board of Asbury College, and currently serves on the World Gospel Mission Board.
He has made two trips to Kenya, Africa, where he spoke to the students at the Kenya Highland Bible College, the staff of the Tenwek Hospital, and the pastors of the Africa Gospel Church.
Dr. Neihof taught at the Mt. Carmel High School from 1959-1981, and was pastor there for thirteen years. He was Academic Dean of the Kentucky Mountain Bible College for six years before assuming his duties as president of the KMHA. In May of 1993 he was presented with an honorary doctor of divinity degree from Wesley Biblical Seminary in Jackson, Mississippi. In June 2003 he retired as president of KMHA with the title of President Emeritus of the Kentucky Mountain Holiness Association and still serves the KMHA in various ways.
